Finally got around to upgrading Bandrho to Flash ActionScript3, was a real pain but some great features like sound spectrum:

i just listened to your UR interview, wow absolutly amazing it was great to hear mike talking about the music something that doesnt happen that much over here. i have been a fan from day one my first UR purchase was ur02. As a uk cat i have always had an afinity with detroit (thru the music) im from east london and some of the descriptions i've heard about your great city sounds like where i grew up (to a point) derrick,jaun,kevin and carl are all heros of mine i hope one day to get over there and see with my own eyes what detroit is really like.what i never understood was why you guys (americans) didnt get techno at first its my understanding they were unknown at home for ages. (i guess you overlook whats infront of you sometimes)the music that came from detroit spawned so much great music and so many sub genres and that tradition still caries on today (check out d&b and dubstep)anyway what im trying to say is the show was exellent and miss copeland was right we are out here and we are listening (very closley)

Thanks man, it'll be worth the wait for both myself and the people looking for new tracks.
In comparison, all the deals that faded away into nothing, with empty promises, were done fast.

So this is different for certain, I had to work for it, but the platform will be the best I could get.

I had my time getting loads of stuff on credit, so this is my punishment! It's agony, death by slow gear lust....

I hope your own project is making some headway too, its defintely hard the way things are at the moment. No question about that. So much change and flux, where the fuck do you head next? Keep on fighting.

I usually only get anonymous flaming arseholes, screw them! Yeh, would you believe I'm STILL waiting, but the lawyer has done his bit, the contract is good with some minor changes. Just waiting for Satamile now.

But it's a painful wait. You'll be pleased to know I got some good new equipment plans for the next year, so watch out for a completely new studio set up.

Oh and to add about Film, Music or any other way of making money through your art. There are thousands of ebooks, guides out there, it is a very big way for people to make money (leech off you) on the internet, EVEN if what is in that book isn't that great.

You will find the marketing and the sales letter are very long, and are designed to hit certain triggers to make you buy it. (scarce, limited)

The product is usually thought of AFTER the campaign has been built. There is a lot of bull written about how indie artists can make it on their own, usually by people who profit from it. There is also usually something else going on that you don't hear about, good management, promo, connections etc.

So take what you read with a pinch of salt, if it smells bad it probably is.
Look at how much time in hours you spend doing promo on the web, is it worth it? What's the return on your time? If you're not getting results it has to change, believe me I've read and tried many things, buts what's nuts is sending out demos still actually works and some labels still have better marketing skills and fan bases than I will ever build on my own.
